Pagi tadi aku keluar awal jer nak gih kerja. But then, still sampai giri-giri. Kenapa?

Pagi tadi kat LDP nk ke Puchong, ada satu kereta nih macam kena hijack! Tingkap, cermin depan ngan cermin belakang semua pecah. Tak ada orang kat dalam. Macam abandoned pon ade. Remuk jugaklah bahagian depan... macam accident, tapi dah xde orang... Ade polis aje. Nak amek gambar, tp karang polis tuh marah susah plak aku. Haisshh...

Sebenarnye, next week Wedding Tuty kat Mersing. Kan dulu aku ade cerita pasal Tuty's Wedding+Tioman Trip, kan?

Dah nak jadi kenyataan dah... Rasa seronok plak. Harap2 Yuni nye joutai banzen pada hari2 itu... Amin!
Pengalaman aku masa gih Langkawi yang boleh diaaplikasikan di Tioman:

1. Daily essentials; Wajib bawak! Jangan Tinggal! Maha kalau beli kat pulau
2. Sun Block; Wajib! Aku pernah beli sunblock RM35 untuk botol kecik jer kat Langkawi.. Majide MAHAL!
3. Map; Aku pernah gak beli... RM15 per map! Aho ka!!
4. Makanan kat pulau xperlu high expectation. Agak kurang sedap... (Lousy! kata review dalam internet) Kalau rajin, bawak Sardin, roti, biskut... *at least cover breakfast*
5. Enjoy! and Plan! kalau nak lepak2 pon kena plan gakss... :p

Kalau xsalah aku, Tioman xde benda sgt nak shopping compared to Langkawi. More to vacation :) Even though Free Duty location...

Ok lah... mahu sambung kerja. Teyuka... Jumaat mmg agak lembap sket clients datang, so... Yukkuri de shigoto shitai!

Tioman dan Gaji

Rasa macam ada banyak benda nak bagitahu dalam blog nih.. hehe Tapi, bila nak tulis terlupe plak. Anyway, today is my first day receiving Gaji from my new employer M*DA. A total of 2 months salary as a penjawat awam. I was a bit awkward semasa nak membuka slip gaji.. hehe

Baru jer buka gaji, lunch time dah kena keluar dah. Panas bontot duit I dalam acc CIMB tuh.. hehe Quinny Zap 2010, Gaji Abang dan duit belanja sendiri. Masih agak leceh sebab belum daftar untuk CIMB Clicks.

Kerja? Sangat berhempas pulas yesterday. tup Tap, deputy cuti plak... hhehe.. Berkat usaha saya hari ini dan semalam. Hanya tinggal 4 fail atas meja dan 1 fail untuk di-Tablekan next week, InsyaAllah. 1 company tak jawab call, so tulis email. lagi 1 untuk ammend.. Lagi 2 belum jenguk lagi.. Mintak2lah xde yang call lagi :) Dekat sini macam ala2 kat STF dulu... Ade aktiviti ko-kurikulum.. ada credit hours.. *Natsukashii* Freedom ada.. Been told to do lots of mingling dengan other workers.. hehehe

Oh ya! Saya dah kompem nak gi Tioman bulan 6 ni! Alang2 dah sampai Mersing masa kawin Tuty, kita anjakkan ke Tioman. Masa tu, InsyaAllah Yuni dah boleh berjalan..hehe Tak sabar nak main air dengan dia! Siapa nak join jom2!!

Bosan lah… nak ckp kasal Yuni lah..


1. Yuni dah ada 2 batang gigi :) ngee… Hanya comel bila senyum, tak comel masa gigit my nipples.

2. Yuni sudah crawling secara official dan active!

3. She has this one habit of menetek masa meniarap. Started when she was 5 month old. I was too tired to lie on my side, so I moved her on her tummy and bf. Sampai sekarang she likes that position… hehe

4. Yuni doesn’t like the sippy cup! Rugi jer aku beli… caitt! She wants to drink like all of the others do. Yes, from the cup.

5. She’s half way to saying “Allahuakbar” everytime Nenek says that, she’ll follow.

6. Yuni dah pandai tegur orang… hehe Tegur ayah lain, tegur Nenek lain, tegur Atuk lain… Mama dia tak tegur… terus buat that “I want you” cry.

7. Yuni tak takut orang :) Comfortable with everyone hugging her or kissing her dengan syarat-> Tak panas and moving

8. Cepat boring… doesn’t like toys yang biasa.. she wants BOOKS!!

9. She loves the cats! Tenyeh2 dengan kaki dia… Sorry, mama tak kasi pegang dengan tangan.

10. Gets distracted easily with t.v especially adverts.

11. Yuni is full of expressions :)

12. She likes to be on the driver seat with Ayah… That’s the moment she don’t want mama anymore… cait!!

And lots more which I cannot write down sebab sgt xde mood… Only thinking of getting back home as fast as I could.

Me & kids

Confession.

I am currently easily irritated by kids. Don't get me wrong. I love kids. But certain kids are really irritating. Especially those who are still "manja" even though dah start primary school.

Manja also has its limits. The irritating kind of manja is the one yang we Malays call mengendeng/menyendeng.

Oh, please lah. Dah besar & dah berat. Takde tulang belakang ke sampai nak kena bersandar at every adaults everytime? Pi carik kerusi boleh tak? Or carik dinding untuk bersandar.

I told Yong about my irritation. Probably due to the hormones. I am not really that eternally "kids friendly" type. I think I got that from my mom.

I think children at a certain age...when they start kindergarden at least, need to be taught about life. Its a lot easier to be taught at early age. But certain parents love to pamper their kids too much. Of course, I understand that everyone have their own reasons. But at least teach them to restrain some attitude when reacting with others.

Am I too strict?

I have my own issues too. Since I am the eldest among my siblings, I tend to get everything first hand. Plus, since I'm always not at home, I seldom need to share things with my brothers and sister. Unlike my sister, Emi, she's more at home with my other 2 brothers. So she has this attitude of "mengalah"...which is totally not in me. She shares and I don't. But, I do share my things, only I am too detailed on it. Everything needs to be perfect. *sigh*

Penatnya jadi saya.


Okaylah, tell you the truth...I am only irritated with 1 kid, who is my niece (from the other side). Everytime I come to visit the other side of the family, she's always the "Drama Queen". She is so pampered. I don't blame her. Since she didn't get enough attention form her mom. (read: She had twin sisters when she was 1 year old) So, she nags for attention from others, which at first is kinda cute. Until, when she gets older, the attitude worsens and its not anymore cute.

Hah! Dah lepas dah! At last, I got that out. I couldn't tell my Abg about it and drives me crazy just keeping it inside. Heh. Now, I told the world!!hahahaha!! (mode puas hati giller)

I don't know how to deal with this kid. I'm going to Perlis this CNY for 2 weddings and she wants to follow. Look, her family is going too. But, she still wants to follow her Pak Lang (which is my Abg) which is going by train. Your parents are going to drive to Perlis, plus using my mom's Serena which is comfortable enough. Still nak naik train jugak?

My guess is this kid doesn't like to be the same as others. She just wants attention and wants to be special. Believe me, she's going to brag about it to her other siblings about how special and superb the trip was. And also brag about how special she is to her Pak Lang and Mak Lang. Please lah...somebody kick this kid into reality. I don't want to pamper any certain kid. I want to treat them equally (since, there are 6 of my other side nieces). But, this kid nags to be special almost all the time. Not only this time, but previously everytime before. Which is really irritating. *sigh*

Mak Bapak,

Tolong jaga anak masing2. Please observe how your kids are growing up into. Smack them into reality and give them some important teachings before they accidentally grow up to be somebody others don't favour their attitude. Masa kecil, still lagi dimaafkan...Dah besar nanti yang susah, mak bapak juga. Just don't drag me into problem solving at that time.

This explains my stress during family gatherings lately.
Anyone got any ideas to reduce the stress / teach me how to ignore this.

Maybe its time to get an mp3 and letak ayat2 Quraan bnyk2... Its a good tool to ignore. Or probably just develop a hobby of drawing/illustrating/writing/play sudoku (that's right!) everytime I go for visits.


I'm open to suggestions. Feel free to drop some.

Current position; laptop on pillow on tummy.

CNY Abg dapat 10hari cuti...huhuh...as for me? 8 hari sahaja...sgt xsuke ok! sbb kena balik awal (T.T) But then, 2 days beza shj. We are still going to Kedah and Perlis for weddings..Still not sure nak naik flight or train. Driving is out of the question laa... Boss nih jahatla...mane ade kerja kalau production cuti. Dengki management cuti gak...huh! Yayama no baka!

Luckily tomorrow is cuti. Hilang sket tensi kat kilang tuh. hehehe...Tensi sikit jer pon ngan boss. Collegues are aikawarazu superb! Skarang tgh wat 2 kerja...update blog sambil join conference. *sigh*

Alamak...perut sakit kena tendang...stop kejap...xsempat tulis ape2 lg...sorry ppl!

Oleh sebab kebosanan makan kat restoran yang samaaaa aje...Semalam Abg bawa pergi "port" dia masa bujang dulu. Restoran Slumberr - restoran yang diusahakan oleh orang2 Terengganu kat Seri Muda, Shah Alam. Whether this restaurant prepares Terengganu meals or not, I'm not sure. Sebab everytime kitorang makan kat luar mesti mintak lauk yang sama (unless dia mmg xmasak lauk tuh la...)

1. Nasi putih - 2
2. Ikan masak 3 rasa (xkesahla siakap ker bawal ker kembung ker...)
3. Sayur goreng (either kailan, kangkung or kacang panjang)
4. Sup ekor!! (A MUST - permintaan veto si isteri)
5. Telur dadar

Especially part sup ekor tuh kan....kalau that certain restaurant doesn't serve sup ekor (or at least sup tulang) memang mood down gilleer laa... Memang xdatang lagi kedai tuh...heheh *sore gurai suki nanda!*

So, semalam order la nasi putih 2, bawal masak 3 rasa, kacang panjang goreng and sup ekor & air laichi for Abg, Air Belimbing for me. The comments;

"Memang BEST giller...MAJI SEDAP!" plus, yang menyebabkan ia bertambah2 sedap is semua yang dipesan di atas Total harga : RM18.60 SAHAJA. *arienaiiideshou??!!* Nak terbeliak mata Abg tengok baki yang dipulangkan. Belum pernah lagi semurah itu kalau kitorang makan dengan lauk yang sama....I mean, BAWAL mahal tau! Macam mana diorang boleh COST DOWN tuh...I really want to know! Taste memang sedap...tiada kurang kat mana2 lauk pon. Ikan xde bau hanyir ke ape...goreng garing plak tuh...Memang SODAPP! (eh, silap slang nogori plak..)

So, another TRIVIA found in Shah Alam. heheh...saje jer nak promote kat korang sumer....mane tahu you guys come accross the restaurant I was talking about. Memang xrugi la kalau singgah makan...heheh...Jangan lupa, namanya Restoran Slumberr...hehe

Saya bakal melanggan ASTRO. Sebab abg nak tengok bola. Mom & Dad not really into the idea of paying to ASTRO. But since Abg nak sgt...silalah, mama kata. Dengan syarat, pasang kat dalam bilik sendiri sahaja. They don't want my 2 brothers to become hantu TV. TV free skarang pon dah cukup jadi hantu malam...Kalau ade ASTRO apetah lagi. But, kalau mama nak tengok CSI kat ASTRO ok jer...Masuk la bilik tuh bile kitorang gih keje...or masa kitorang kat Langkawi nanti...Abg xkisah pon :)

Baby is healthy! Macam xsabar2 nak gih Langkawi...sama dengan mama dia :p Abg pulak macam nak balik Kelang...tapi dah 2 hari berturut asyik balik Kelang aje...dia pon bosan...So, duduk rumah kah saja kami hari ini? hehe...

Nanti lah fikir2kan lagi nak wat ape...Till then, Salam Maal Hijrah!

Update on baby visit & home warming event at Ratna's.

My collegue, Ratna had her first house warming after returning to work for 1 month. She has a baby boy which she named her Mohd Rayyan (excuse me for the spelling...serious xsure camne nak eja)

He is soooo cute!

Betulla orang tua2 kata, apa yang kita buat masa tgh mengandung bakal di-inherit pada anak2...hehe...Rayyan baru 3 bulan, taapi mulut dia asyik terkumat kamit seolah2 nak bercakap...Memang mirip maknye yang suka berborak2...heheh...

Ini plak Pon yang bakal jadi mama juga...heheh...lawan size perut...dia baru 3 minggu...heheh

After Ratna's visit...we had to go off to Meru to look at Serena. My bro (yang manja nak mampos xreti nak berdikari lagi walaupon dah 22tahun) langgar Proton at Fed Highway on a Friday afternoon. Cubelah kalau dia xtergesa2 nak balik Gombak masa tuh...Sembahyang Jumaat dulu be4 balik ker...Sure xjadi macam nih...Niat tuh ade yg xbetul...

Anyway...after dah ketuk2 sana sini...Ganti bumper depan yang rabak betul tuh...Kenalah cat kan? *sigh* Expensive laaaa....especially when its a van (luas permukaan yang besar) and colour sampai 2 jenis. *sigh*

Some more, bukan dia yang bayar! Dia yang accident, dahla xbayar bill fixing, i bet you saman nanti pon dia xbayar. Manja nak mampos! Tuh pon xreti2 lagi nak bersyukur tuh...walhal petrol fees 100% gune credit card daddy. No wonder daddy nak kick him off from Malaysia by next year. Biar dok jauh sikit amek degree boleh gak berdikari. After this no more FAMA lah...Ko nak enjoy, pandai2 usaha carik duit sendiri...wat part time ker...

My family bukannya loaded sangat, sekadar yang mampu jerla. Mom pon xkerja dah. We still have a younger one yang baru habis SPM this year. This brother of mine is still not aware of this situation (read: TAK MATANG lagi) Still nak harapkan duit mak bapak. Tiada inisiatif untuk wat part time ker...Yang tahu, asyik nak enjoy gune duit mak bapaaak aje...Geram kadang2...Berbuih dah nasihat, tapi xjalan jugak. Kalu anak aku...dah lama cut allowance. Duit hanya untuk yang perlu...kalau nak enjoy, pi carik duit sendiri...Baru dia kenal nilai duit tuh...Huh!

Okay, stoplah cerita my bro yang xbest tuh...Skarang nih tgh enjoy camping bawak my Suzuki plak...Balik nanti tahulah dia...

Sekarang nih nak cerita best plak...Walaupon semalam terpaksa pi kilang sat keluarkan produk dari chamber and ambil data ngan Abg, suruh dia solder balik masuk dalam chamber...Tapi sempat makan laaksa and cendol kat depan Wisma FAM, Kelana Jaya. Tepi jalan nye ala2 yatai kat Jepun...hehehe Tapi, memang BEST!! Sedap dan murah...Osusume desu!

Laksa Penang nih walaupon maybe tak se-KAWW Penang nye, tapi memang perfect! Tak terlebih apa2...semuanya secukup rasa...Tak masin sangat...Tak masam sangat...Tak terlebih/terkurang ikan langsung...Tak macam Laksa S*toooooot*K...heheh

Abg having his laksa....kalau boleh, nak suruh buka cawangan kat depan rumah kami laaa...heheh

We are going to Langkawi this 30th Dec. Saja2 jalan sempena cuti panjang nih...Before this kalau jalan2 asyik dengan family jer...nak la privacy sket...hehe.. Kali nih xnaik ferry dah...Naik Air Asia sahaja...Sakitla dah boyot mcm nih...Planning nak round2 pulau and snorkeling! hehehe...and of course shopping ler...nak handbag ganti yg dah koyak nih...hihih

4 day holiday entry...bear with me, dear

Assalamualaikum.Good morning!!

Currently blogging from Summit Starbuck. Abg is in the mid of his bowling tournament upstairs...While me? The one carrying the big bowling ball everywhere...heheeh had to find a port to ease my boredom with my baby..

Bowling started at 9:30am... Starbucks pon baru tgh lap2 meja...hehe..Currently trying out the Dark Cherry Mocha Frappuchino and having their tuna finger sandwich for breakfast. Yup, they say its not so good to consume too much caffeine during pregnancy, but I'm not addicted. heheh...

Company gave us last Friday, a holiday. So, straight 4 days in total = sunburn X 2, wedding X 1 and bowling X 1. hmmm...quite a hectic holiday.

11th Dec (Thursday) - Agong's bday!

Went to PD with the whole Abg's side of the family. Brought the Serena with another 3 cars, of course since all the other uncles and aunts joined us. Rented 7 pelampung all together. 2 trips of the banana boat ride. Mandi laut dari pukul 11am sampai 4pm. Boleh tak? Masa mandi...Best bangat! hehhee...(excuse me for the Nusantara slang)

My youngest niece, Haziq. In the background is my Kakak Ipar (who is probably getting married next year)

We didn't feel the result on that day. (especially me!) Didn't even apply any sun block lotion at all. Kira tawakkal jerla kalau kulit gelap pon... But then, instead of having a darker tan...My skin turned RED!! Ya Allah! Tuhan ajer yang tahu pedih nya...Its like melecur kena air panas. Currently still red in color but less pain compared on Friday. Bayangkan, bergesel dengan lengan baju pon sakit. Abg said its because of being too long on the pelampung instead of swimming around. heheh...Cian Abg...No touching me these few days. Sentuh pon sakit tau...

12th Dec (Friday)

Went to Melaka to send my Adik Ipar to her practical place, which is a tadika. She will become a tadika teacher for the next 4 months. Free accomodation, free food, big conner lot house only for 2 people and RM200 allowance. All she had to do was learn as much as possible from the people there, help around with errands and survive wiith no TV for the next 4 months...hehehe...Cian...but its part and parcel of life. You have to have that kind of experience.

On the way back, pekena Char Kueh Teow in Puchong. Best wooo!! Before I met Abg, I never tasted Char Kueh Teow before because I thought that all kueh teows, despite their different name is actually the same thing.

The correct original Char Kueh Teow (alaaa...yang resepi dia kena bayar sampai RM4k tuh...)

A bit of points to ponder in choosing the best Char Kueh Teow;

1. The original, best Char Kueh Teow's kueh Teow size is actually HALF the size of the market's Kueh Teow. If you are eating the normal width kueh teow claimed to be Char Kueh Teow, YOU'RE CONNED!

2. The original, best Char Kueh Teow will have the prawns with the kulit udang AND the kepala udang along in the Char Kueh Teow. This is to get the juicy taste of udang in the meal. If you are eating the so-called Char Kueh Teow with udang yang dah togel, tanpa kepala dan kulit, YOU'RE CONNED!

3. The original, best Char Kueh Teow will not have a telur goreng on top of it. The telur will always be in the kuah which is has a taste of gula merah. If you're eating the so-called Char Kueh Teow without any taste of gula merah...then, YOU'RE CONNED.

Abg is so upset if he paid to eat Char Kueh Teow, and it ended up like this..

Zura's wedding!! Congratulations!!!

Sorry, gambar gelap sikit (T_T) Tapi, seri pengantin tetap ada!

Zura's my blockmate in STF and she got married to the man of his dreams...hehe... She's also a business woman for the famous Hey Cupcakes!

Yong couldn't make it to her wedding..kalau tak boleh jumpa..Anyway, by the time I reached the Dewan it was raining heavily. Luckily, some of the gang is still there...Im, Dayerq, Izyan, Sareque, Cytot and Nadwah (she came after me)


The food was superb...Abg malu2 nak ambil extra round of ayam masak merah.. Dayerq ngan Izyan selambe jer... Tulah...Orang malu selalu rugi...hehehe...

The best thing about her wedding is that she made all the end-line cupcakes by herself....AND....IT'S FREE!!! heheh... Hey, harga tepung, gula semua dah naik tau...bukan senang dapat makan cupcakes free...hanya di Wedding Zura...hehe...


Of course, I sempat tapau cupcakes balik untuk mama and Mak Ngah yang tgh survey cupcakes untuk Hazri (my cousin) wedding next year.


14th Dec (Sunday)

PEDMA bowling tournament. Tak sempat update ape2 lagi, since its still on. Results pon xtau lagi macam mane...Should end soo though. Yang I tahu,Tuty-chan lost her car keys yesterday and baru sedar pagi nih...Bahaya betulla budak tuh! I just hope she dropped it somewhere inElmi's or Cigah's car. Jangan drop kat tempat lain sudah... Tapi, lupe plak nak tanya...xde spare key ker?

Hmmm...nanti2 lah tanya. Okay, I think I should be off soon back at Bowling Alley. Mocha pon dah nak habis nih..I think they should have completed the tournament anytime now since the next batch to play is at 12 noon. Abg pon sure tgh pening apesalla call xdapat2 nih...Hp stuck kat cable comp nih nak transfer gambar punyer pasal...Sabar yer...

I'm updating my Raya Qurban schedule today. Big possibility I'm not going to JB this weekend. Daddy suddenly doesn't want to go and mom is not really satisfied with the answer. He wanted my brother to come along...But then, suddenly it became too crowdy. So, I decided not to go lorr... Sorry Uncle Black! But, crampy long hour drive? Even in a Sonata pon I tak tahan. But mom couldn't talk into dad going...(some communication breakdown there) Alaa...mama cakap jerla Din kena kerja weekend nih...ganti orang ker... And then she laughed! *ala-ala bohong sunat*

Anyway, haven't told Abg about this...Jap lagi tepon lah...So, most probably, would be able to go to PD...If mom permits it. Since whoever stays back at home will have to take care of grandma...*sigh*

CNY Holls

Chinese New Year....4 days of holidays...*yeah!!*

This year's CNY was spent whole in Perak...hehehe...

1. Congratulations to Ratna and Amir on their wedding!

- Ratna's my collegue and she'll be having her wedding hols all week starting next week...*bestnyer*

2. Finally got to meet the amazing and cute, Shafiqah Atirah...Abg's anak buah...

- Debab's first baby and outstandingly a good girl. She doesn't mind being left at home with Atok when her parents go ronggeng somewhere in Lumut. She doesn't cry most of the time and can easily be held by almost everyone.

3. The best part is spending time with Abg. Cari penawar and stuff.

- Yes, he had been sick and I know this is a combination of both spritual and basic modern health problems. Inappropriate diet for starters. And tempat kerja yang keras. Plus a slight unidentified "stress" problem.

But, all in all, we were lucky to find the warmth of kampung people so healthy. All tried to help in each ways. Some don't even charge us anything. They just wanted to help and this experience was so touching.

Although preceptions had been made that "orang kampung" berfikiran kolot etc... I think they still potrait the best basic of adat Melayu of helping others in need. *sungguh membina!*

Dah lama sebenarnya tak merasa kebaikan orang2 Melayu kita di kampung since saya sudah tiada kampung. Jiran pon di bandar tak bertegur sapa sangat. Masing2 sibuk dengan kerja dan jadual harian. Semangat berjiran itu, I believe agak kurang di bandar berbeza dengan kampung. "Cheh! ckp pon mcm org puteh kacuk Melayu gituh...hahahaha"

Yang penting right now, is that Abg's health is improving. I hope it will continue to improve and stay constant, the positive way.

Not to forget, yang penting di pelajari after spending 4 days in kampung style... I don't really care about nyamuk, lalat, semut, cicak etc...okay, tolak lipas la...belum bersedia lagi...

Dah, esok kerja...I wanna spend the few hours of holiday relaxing at home...peace!
